Ingredients

- crushed graham crackers, coarse crumbs (about 6 graham crackers)

- chopped walnuts

- 3 tbsp
- cold butter, cut into cubes

- shredded Canada 150 PEI Aged 2 Years Cheddar
- 125 mL
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350˚F (180˚C). In bowl, mix together graham crumbs and walnuts. Cut in butter with two knives or rub with fingertips until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Toss with cheese and spread in thin layer on parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
Step 2
Bake, stirring and turning pan once, 12 to 15 min. until golden brown and crisp. Cool completely, about 20 min. Break into 1/2-in. (1-cm) crumbles. Sprinkle on roasted vegetables, pasta, salad, grilled chicken and fish, baked apples and pies, or layer in savoury yogourt parfaits.
